I've been going to this Starbucks about 4 times a week for the past 2 years or so. I do the occasional surveys but I've never left any sort of detailed feedback. Since I have some free time today, I figured I would do just that. In short, I can't praise this store and its employees highly enough, and I think they definitely deserve some sort of recognition. From a business perspective, I've always admired the Starbucks corporate culture and approach to customer service, and its subsequent embodiment in its stores, practices, and employees. Obviously some stores adhere to those standards more "loosely" than others, but I think my local store is a prime example of what a Starbucks store should be, as well as what the company wants a Starbucks store to be, and the company should be proud to have the employees this store houses. I've lived in Mt. Pleasant for 6 years now, and the store in my hometown of Rock Hill, SC doesn't come close to the Coleman Blvd. store in ANY category. The store manager, Brandy, possesses an unwavering resolve and impressive social acumen. She and everyone else who work there - Megan, Ashley, Alex, Terrence (who, according to this chalkboard in front of me, won partner of the quarter), Patrick, and Maggie - have an unequivocal dedication to making sure customers enjoy what they order and leave with a smile on their face, no matter what it takes. It boggles my mind seeing patrons who have the nerve to get angry and complain and make a fuss about the most trivial things, and how some customers think things like the shortcomings or errors of the Starbucks app, or a specific company policy, are somehow the fault of the baristas. I've seen the cashiers have to deal with the most enigmatic, nonsensical complaints; they handle them in a calm, polite manner every single time, which I think is a feat in itself. By my calculations, I've visited this store about 400 times. The cashiers and baristas are always happy and smiling, even when it's obvious they're probably not having a great day. These guys somehow easily remember my name and my semi-complicated drink, even though I'm not even an every day regular, which I think is very impressive. Sometimes they have the cup sharpie'd before I even get to the counter. From customer service to cleanliness to drink quality, everything about this store exceeds expectations, and I have visited many different Starbucks stores all over the United States. I understand that all the aforementioned things are part of employee training, policy, and culture, but the actual execution of them is something that I think cannot be measured quantitatively. It must be seen and experienced, and I'm glad I get to experience it a few times a week.

On the inside, this Starbucks is typical of all I like about all Starbucks - great (expensive) products and usually good service, comfortable seating, etc. But, the outdoor seating area is not maintained at all - see the 2 photos I uploaded from this AM. Dirty tables and chairs, old newspapers on the ground, etc. There is a grassy area too with broken or missing chairs, tables and umbrellas. Too bad, because this could/should be nice place to enjoy your coffee.

The woman (dark hair) taking our order today, July 17, was one of the most rude and unfriendly servers ive ever seen. No smile or personality, she acted like a pms'ing robot at the counter. My hubs and I saw her throw down a straw at the customer as she picked her coffee up at the counter snarling hatefully "have a nice day". She hates her job so why doesn't she go?

There's so many things I like about this Starbucks location. It's large so even when it's crowded, I never feel cramped. The indoor seating is spacious and well configured with 6 big, comfy leather chairs along the back when I want to stay awhile; 6 high tops for lite conversations while waiting for orders; 5 tables and chairs against the large glass window to people watch while ai enjoy a snack and even a large table that seats eight set off on the side for a meeting. They offer wifi and the bathrooms, located in the rear, are OK. What I like best is the fabulous outdoor patio. There's twelve, well-spaced tables (each seating four) with chairs that are actually comfortable. It's a great place to check messages or talk to friends on my phone, enjoy my cuppa joe, or just chill. The baristas are, well, generally OK. Parking can be a challenge during the morning rush to work; however, most people are looking to get in and out so spaces free up pretty fast. Come to think of it, the only thing that this location is lacking is a drive-thru window.

This Starbucks is better than average. It's still a Starbucks, but as a meeting spot, it fits the bill. They offer free wifi, plenty of seating in multiple configurations, a large outdoor patio, and it never seems too loud to get work done. After a meeting, if I have a break in my day, I'm known to post up where I'm at for a while and get some work done. This location always works well for that. The service is friendly and it's never too busy to the point of annoyance.

Kind of busy; no surprise given the location. The service is great though and lines move quickly. This Starbucks is my "remote" office. There's plenty of seating and even a long table (sits 8+) tucked away in a nook. The free wifi is decent enough for email and light browsing.

Go figure, another SBUX review. This one is always a staple after a day at Sullivan's and I popped in after lunch at Mozzo to grab a coffee. Always friendly. Always fast. Always correct with my drink orders. No complaints - just wish it was drive thru sometimes!

For those that know me know that I'm a big fan of Starbucks, and I reflect that in my reviews of them. This Starbucks is no different from most of the others I've reviewed. The store is kept up nicely and is a very clean store inside and out; not sure I have seen trash on the outside as in some of the photos posted, perhaps it was just a busy day when those were taken or the closing staff forgot to clean up that night before and it rained. Each time I've been here there have been at least 3 people working, giving great service and walking around and cleaning up. The staff here is super friendly and the store offers a great place to get some work done on the weekend or early mornings on the way to the office. And the best part of this Starbucks locations is the best thing about all Starbucks locations, the best coffee to get you fueled and ready to begin your day.

I'm starting to think I just don't like Starbuck's. Service is polite, yet can be condescending (yesterday, JR C. ran in for a bottle of water before the bridge walk and was met with a snide "...did you want any COFFEE?" No bitch. No we don't.

The Starbucks on Coleman is the BEST Starbucks I have ever been too hands down. I have been to so many up and down the East Coast, and have been (unfortunately for some but not all) a frequent visitor to all of the ones downtown and none come close to the sincere and superior customer service and friendliness that you will receive at Starbucks on Coleman. 95% of the staff takes the time out to learn your name and your beverage so that when you walk in next time, not only will they recognize you, but they will also be familiar with what it is you like to drink! The ladies and gents in the Starbucks on Coleman are actually themselves. ! I mean of course they lay it on thick with those they need to...I mean who here hasnt worked in Customer Service...but they are familiar enough with most of the customers that when they walk in they can totally be themselves! Smile, have light conversation, make your drink, and if its not made the way you want, you they will gladly adjust it accordingly without a frown the length of the River Jordan on their face (uh hum...Starbucks on KING close to Market!!). My expectations have soared for Starbucks due to the one on Coleman, so blame the lovely ladies and cool manager on Coleman because I always want my drink done right! And a smile wont kill ya :o)

The staff is nice at this Starbucks. They make a great cup of coffee and it's pretty big inside, lots of seating and also lots of parking.

I prefer this Starbucks over the others in the area due to its large size and ample parking. It has 9 love seats. 12 tables and 2 desks.

I've never seen such a tiny Starbucks, with the exception of those little airport ones. The baristas were pleasant enough, but the place was just so small that I didn't feel comfortable there. My best friend and I were trying to have a conversation, but we felt like everyone could hear everything we were saying. Haha. All in all, there's nothing *wrong* with this place, but there are lots of other Starbucks stores I'd rather frequent.

When I vacation in the area I like to frequent this Starbucks. The manager in charge is a really nice person and always remembers us from year to year. I like the new decor of the interior. My only complaint is the people who use this place for their private office and converse without giving a darn how loud their voices travel. Other wise I think this is a great Starbucks.....
